I absolutely love this and yes we are definitely untrained therapists but we still do all we can whilst we have them in our chairs. I'd love to join. I gave up my salon to go freelance 6 weeks pre covid (talk about good timing). Anyway all these years on i am shattered. I'm 40 and ive been doing hair since I was 16 and I think are community is amazing 🩷

I absolutely understand the way our industry can shatter us! I’ve been doing hair for 24 years now and have faced many phases of burnout. Mental health and community is so needed for us beauty professionals. I hope you’ll join the free community. And be on the lookout, podcast launching soon!

Hello Lynsey! I’m sorry this message slipped past me. (I’m still trying to figure out this substack notifications and things) This space is all about learning the tools we need as we play the pseudo therapist role. Because while we love that, it can be a lot for us. I’d LOVE for you to join! There is a free community for support, just subscribe and join the chat for that. And, I have a podcast as well for more mental health wellbeing. I’m so glad you’re here!

Love this! We are often untrained therapists, helping our guests and it's important to work on our well-being as well.

I couldn’t agree more! We need more focus on our mental wellbeing instead of the busy culture we see in many social media vibes. So glad to have found each other here! I have a free community in the chat feature here, would love to see you there. Thanks for reaching out!
